Smartphones And Our Kids

Let's face it, smartphones are everywhere and they are going to be a major part of our lives for years to come. Many adults describe mixed feelings about their smartphone. To some it's a necessary tool for their career, to others it's an annoyance that they would love to live without. Some even acknowledge that their smartphone is more like a toy, allowing them to relax and escape from reality from time to time. But what role does the smartphone play in the lives and development of our children? Check out this interesting, thought-provoking, and somewhat controversial article on the topic. The first step is to starting to think about these issues, then we need to work together to figure out how to handle them.
